Holy Ramayan Retold 1

Holy Ramayan

Lord Vishnu in Sheshasayi posture

The Holy Ramayan is our oldest epic written almost 5000 years ago by the Sage Valmiki when Lord Ram ruled the global Indian empire called the RamRajya with its capital at Ayodhya. It was the greatest empire the world has ever seen and even today is considered as the epitome of ideal empire. The Holy Ramayan is not just a historical document but a catalogue of scientific achievements as well. All the scientific inventions in the last 100 years are essentially borrowed from the Holy Ramayan, from flying machines to robots.Yet the western scholars denounce the Holy Ramayan as mythology. The reason is very simple - they want Indians to be ignorant of the true essence of the Holy Ramayan while they keep stealing shamelessly from it. In the past few years the situation has become worse, as movies are being made that depict Lord Ram as the villain and king Ravan as the hero !!!!!!! The situation in modern India is very similar to what it was when the world was ruled by king Ravan and his Rakshashas or Reptilian Cannibals. In fact these Rakshasha bloodlines still survive in modern times among the ruling elite of the world and it is them who are hellbent on glorifying their patriarch king Ravan. They have turned the Holy Ramayan into an object of ridicule with questions like " which engineering college did Lord Ram attend before constructing the RamSetu" ?

I have started this blog series to give fitting replies to this puzzling questions that torment the faithful. I believe that the Holy Ramayan along with the Holy Mahabharat cantains the answers to all of India's problems. This blog series is meant to create nostalgia for our glorious past when India ruled the world by the grace of Lord Ram.It will be a long series with detailed analysis of each and every chapter of the Holy Ramayan.I have chosen to radically reinterpret the Holy Ramayan to safeguard the morals of the faithful against the evil false propaganda of the modern day Rakshashas. ( Yes, you read it right ).

BALA  KANDA

The Holy Ramayan is divided into 7 sections or Kandas which are further divided into multiple chapters, each dealing with a specific event in Lord Ram's life.Ramayan literally means the journey of Lord Ram - both physical and spiritual. The first section is called Bala Kanda and it deals with Lord Ram's childhood. Chapter 1 of Bala Kanda introduces us with the Sage Valmiki, the composer of the Holy Ramayan. According to this chapter the Divine Sage Narad narrated the events of Lord Ram's life to Sage Valmiki and instructed him to compose the Holy Ramayan for educating the people of the world.

Chapter 2 describes the event that inspired the Sage Valmiki to compose the Holy Ramayan in verse form that can be recited and sung accompanied by the Veena. It so happened that once Sage Valmiki went to bathe in the river Tamasa close to river Ganga with his disciple Bharadwaj. He was in a very tranquil mood after performing the religious rites and a pair of amorous Krauncha birds ( Heron ) attracted his attention. Then suddenly an arrow shot by a hunter pierced the male bird and killed it. The female bird became melancholic in sorrow and seeing it the Sage spontaneously uttered a verse commemorating the agony of the lovebirds. The Sage's disciple Bharadwaj memorised the verse.

The Krauncha bird of India

The Krauncha incident has a deep esoteric significance as it can be used to predict future.During Vedic times the entrails of the bird was used to predict future by the Clairvoyant Sages. The Kundalini Shakti awakened Sages attained the ability to read and interpret auras emanating from living creatures.Certain animals and birds were chosen for such purposes and the Sages could understand the subtle changes that took place in the entrails of the bird in the event of an ominous incident. The source of this sudden change was rainwater drunk by the bird that deposited in their entrails and made changes to its colour. Normal rainwater does not contain any chemicals to make any changes to the bird's entrails but but a thunderstorm creates such chemicals in rain water and surface water. As per Vedic Astrology certain hours of the day were ominous as the demonic forces within nature created disturbances in the atmosphere and thunderstorms during those hours made subtle changes to the chemical composition of rainwater. The Clairvoyant Sages could determine the hour of the thunderstorms by seeing the bird's entrails and predict the future correctly. Now you know why thunderstorms are mentioned before every ominous incident in the Holy Ramayan.Modern science has only recently come to terms with the fact that thunderbolt changes the chemical composition of water and negative energy does exist in the atmosphere. All the modern scientific research are obviously based on stolen knowledge from our Holy books. ( Yes, you read it right ).

The Krauncha incident also has allegorical significance as it represents the agony of Lady Sita during her captivity in Lanka when she was forcefully separated from Lord Ram.Sage Valmiki understood the significance and spontaneously composed the verse. The Sage returned to his hermitage and while meditating fell into a trance or Turiya state of mind and had a vision of Lord Brahma.Lord Brahma appreciated the verse composed by the Sage and asked him to compose the Holy Ramayan in similar verse.

Chapter 3 gives a summary of the Holy Ramayan and chapter 4 gives the account of Sage Valmiki teaching the 24000 verses of the Holy Ramayan to Lord Ram's children Luv and Kush, who were studying in the Sage's hermitage at that time.He also taught them to sing the verses accompanied by Veena. The brothers were gifted musicians and singers and they mesmerised the assembly of the Sages with their performance. Incidentally Lord Ram was passing by the hermitage and seeing them perform He invited them to his palace to perform before the royalty. The brothers captured the hearts of Lord Ram and the royalty with their performance.

Chapter 5 gives a detailed description of the city of Ayodhya built by Lord Ram's father king Dasharath. The first few lines are striking as it says that the world consists of 7 continents. In modern times people didn't know about the existence of the 7th continent Antarctica until about 200 years ago. So we see that the Vedic people of India were far more advanced than the western people of modern times. Antarctica by the way was inhabited by people at that time as we shall see in the course of this long blog series. The Holy Ramayan is a treasure trove of ancient knowledge as I'm going to discuss now.

Chapter 5 clearly mentions that the entire world was under one rule since the time of king Manu of the Great Flood fame. His descendents formed the various dynasties of the world. One such dynasty was the Ikshvaku dynasty.King Dasharath was born in the Ikshvaku dynasty which also produced illustrious kings like king Sagar.King Dasharath was the ruler of the Koshal kingdom situated on the banks of the Sarayu river. The capital city Ayodhya has been compared with the city of the Gods,Amaravati. Ayodhya was full of bards and minstrels and Sages living the Vedic way of life with Yoga and Yaga being part of everyday life. The practice of Yoga and Yaga made the city properous and its people happy. The city was built as per the Vastu Shastra with wide avenues, beautiful gardens and mango groves. The city is described as a beautiful woman wearing girdle of greenary. The city had massive walls and gates surrounded by an impenetrable moat.It was also a city of commerce and had large palaces with arches and domes and pyramidal roofs. The Arch, the Dome and the Pyramid were all invented by the Vedic Sages contrary to what western scholars hypothesise. The art of building pyramidal and cylindrical roofs in the manner of the Vimanas of the Gods was prevalent even at that time. This is again contrary to the western hypothesis that the Vimanas were the products of imagination of the primitive people of India. The city was guarded by mighty archers who knew the Vedic art of ShabdaBhedi or Shooting an arrow following the sound made by the target far from eyesight.

The Sarayu river

Ayodhya in modern India

A map of ancient India showing the location of Kosala kingdom

Chapter 6 talks about the daily life of the citizens of Ayodhya. It says that everyone practiced the Vedic rites and peace and prosperity prevailed in their lives. The inhabitants came from the Himalayas as well as the Vindhya mountains. An important point to note here is that the city had horses from the Kamboja, Vanaya, Nudi and Bahlika kingdoms, all of which correspond to modern day Central Asia.It simply means that these areas were very much a part of ancient India as I have explained in detail in my previous blogs on Atiratra Yaga and Soma. The western hypothesis that ancient Indians didn't have horses and chariots is a false propaganda as the Holy Ramayan clearly mentions the use of horse drawn chariots.Ayodhya also had mighty war elephants from the Himalayas and the Vindhya mountains. The city was named Ayodhya or 'the city none can overpower in battle' because of the mighty defence system comprising of war elephants, horse drawn chariots, cavalry and ShabdaBhedi archers.

Chapter 7 deals with the administration of Ayodhya and the minsters who ran it with honesty. Sage Vashishta is introduced for the first time as an adviser to the king.

Chapter 8 deals with the king's resolve to perform the Ashwamedha Yaga for procuring an heir to the throne as he was childless. He summoned his ministers and invited the renowned Sages of the time to perform the Yaga on the banks of the Sarayu river. I must discuss the meaning of the Ashwamedha Yaga before proceeding further. The Ashwamedha Yaga is one of the most misunderstood and misinterpreted rituals mentioned in the Holy RigVeda. The western scholars who translated the Vedic literature depicted a grim picture of our culture out of ignorance and prejudice. They translated the word Ashwamedha as horse meat and said that the Yaga was performed with horse meat !!!!!!!

First of all, horses were never killed for their meat in our culture and offering animal meat in the Holy fire alter is highly sacrilegious. Ashwamedha Yaga means a ritual wherein a king is glorified by the merit brought by the holy horse. In the Ashwamedha Yaga a white horse was consecrated and set free to roam the neighbouring kingdoms for a year to gain votes of confidence from them. The royal banner was attached to the saddle of the holy horse and an army was dispatched to protect it. If a neighbouring king captured the holy horse, the accompanying army declared war and subjugated the hostile kingdom. The holy horse returned home after completing the designated schedule and was received as a meritorious horse bearing good omens. The holy horse was worshipped during the closing ceremony and kept as a royal pet in the palace gardens. This Vedic tradition still survives in modern India in the Srirangam Sriranganathaswamy Temple where a white horse is ritually paraded during the festivities. The royalty is gone and so nobody performs the Ashwamedha Yaga anymore but the tradition remains albeit in a humble form.

The famous white horse in the Srirangam Sriranganathaswamy temple

Lord Vishnu riding the symbolic holy horse in the manner of the Ashwamedha Yaga

Chapter 9 talks about the prophecy made by the Sage Sanatkumara that a son would be born to king Dasharath.According to the prophecy, Sage Rishyashringa born in the line of Sage Kashyapa would perform the necessary rites for the king for obtaining a son.Sage Rishyashringa would be living in an isolated forest hermitage with his father, engaged in severe austerities that would give him special powers. The Sage would be invited to the court of the neighbouring kingdom of Anga for performing rituals for bringing rain in the draught affected kingdom. There the Sage would be married to the king's daughter and then travel to king Dasharath's court to perform the rites for obtaining a son.The prophesy was narrated to king Dasharath by his minister Sumantra.

In Chapter 10 king Dasharath asks Sumantra to narrate the events concerning Sage Rishyashringa in detail. Sage Rishyashringa was brought up singly by his father as a Brahmachari or celibate Yogi in a remote forest hermitage away from human habitation. These austerities were taken so that he could be free from worldly distractions and concentrate on learning. He became a Kundalini Shakti awakened Yogi and attained Shiddhis or miraculous powers at an early age. King Lomapada from the draught affected kingdom of Anga wanted to have his blessings and sent his royal dancers to entice him to his capital city. It was an easy task for the dancers as the Sage had never seen a woman and agreed to travel to the capital city just out of curiosity. The Sage saw the draught affected kingdom and invoked the rainclouds with his Siddhis. This is the first example of thought powered commands controlling the forces of nature. The Sage simply resonated the Pineal gland inside his brain with Sanskrit mantras and gave out an energy signal to the upper atmosphere and attracted the rainclouds to that particular location. The rainclouds which are basically balls of energy were fused by further commands from the Sage and thus it bagan to rain. The king was satisfied and he gave his daughter Shanta in marriage to the Sage.

An image of Sage Rishyashringa worshipped in the Sringeri Mutt in Kerala, India

In chapter 11 we see Sumantra further narrating the prophecy of Sage Sanatkumara to king Dasharath. King Dasharath travels to the court of king Lomapada and invites the Sage to come to Ayodhya.

In Chapter 12 we see that the Sage has arrived at Ayodhya and king Dasharath has made arrangements for the Ashwamedha Yaga.

In Chapter 13 we see the guests arriving at Ayodhya and Sage Rishyashringa commencing the Yaga as the chief priest.

Chapter 14 discusses the rituals performed after the return of the Ashwamedha horse and the closing ceremony. But sadly the western scholars who have translated this chapter into English does not know anything about the Vedic rituals and their significance. It is the worst possible translation of the Holy Ramayan meant to ridicule our culture. This chapter clearly describes the Atiratra Yaga and Soma Yaga which I have explained in detail in my previous blogs on the Atiratra Yaga and Soma.I have also explained the significance of the Ashwamedha Yaga earlier in this blog. The "horse meat " spoken of in chapter 14 is an allegory for metal ores that were poured on the eagle shaped Garuda alter for creating Amrita or an Alchemical metal alloy. In Soma Yaga the fire raged for 5 days continuously and the resultant heat transformed the ores into a metal alloy. A ceremonial sword was manufactured using this metal alloy and presented to the host king as a symbol of honour at the end of the Yaga. This is what exactly happened in chapter 14. The interpretation by the western scholars is highly blasphemous.

I urge the young people of India to guard themselves against all false propaganda by the western scholars.

The Garuda alter of the Atiratra Yaga

The Soma Yaga in progress - king Dasharath saw a similar fireball

Chapter 15 gives an account of the Putrakameshthi Yagya performed by Sage Rishyashringa so that king Dasharath can have four sons. The Yagya invoked the Gods for divine intervention and the Gods responded by approaching Lord Brahma. The Gods described the plight of the world on account of king Ravan who tormented the Gods and men alike with his demonic powers.Lord Brahma had earlier given Ravan the boon that the Gods,Gandharvas and Yakshas would not be able to kill him and this made him almost invincible. He misused his powers and tyrannized the whole world. So Lord Brahma came with the solution that only a man can kill him since Ravan didn't ask for invincibility against man in his arrogance.Lord Vishnu appeared before the Gods after Lord Brahma had made His resolve to destroy Ravan. The Gods approached Lord Vishnu to take a human Avatar to kill Ravan. The righteous king Dasharath was chosen as the prospective father for the Avatar to incarnate as man. Lord Vishnu promised to destroy king Ravan with his entire clan.

Lord Brahma

Chapter 16 gives a mysterious account of the fruit of the Putrakameshthi Yagya. I must discuss it in detail before proceeding further. The Yagya was meant to invoke the Gods for obtaining Magic Children and the only way to do it was to send a signal to the Gods.Three main factors came into play - the energy emitted by the fire alter, the sound energy of the Sanskrit mantras and the Scalar energy emitted by the Sage Rishyashringa. The geometrically shaped fire alter produced an energy beam as per the shape of the alter, the Sanskrit mantras produced a sound energy with encoded commands and the Sage resonated the Pineal gland in his head while uttering mantras generating a Scalar energy wave. These three energies combined together to form a super energy beam and at a particular moment of astrological significance reached the upper atmosphere and attracted the energy fields known as spirits. This energy field by the way is responsible for Reincarnation. ( Please refer to the Holy Bhagabat Geeta if you still have any doubts ). Lord Vishnu had sent a portion of His divine energy in this energy field and this energy came down to earth following the super energy beam sent by Sage Rishyashringa. The Sage harnessed the energy with further mantras or sound energy commands and passed it on to the Payasam cooked on the golden Cauldon over the fire alter. This sacred Payasam was prepared with holy cow milk and special aromatic rice obviously consecrated with mantras. This Magic Potion created by the Alchemical formula described in the Holy AtharvaVeda also acted as an aphrodisiac.King Dasharath actually saw the energy beam over the fire alter in a vision and then distributed the Magic Potion among his three queens - Kaushalya, Kaikeyi and Sumitra.Normal marital bliss followed and the three queens conceived in due time.

The western scholars often ridicule the faithful, pointing out the apparent improbability of conceiving by eating Payasam.I think today I have shut their mouths once and for all.

The millenia old famous Payasam

Chapter 17 gives an account of the Gods incarnating in the Vanara tribe to assist the Avatar of Lord Vishnu. The western scholars who have translated this chapter into English have messed it up as usual out of ignorance and prejudice. The Sanskrit word Vanara does not mean monkey - it means a forest tribe.Valuable research in this field has been done by the brilliant researcher Santanam Swaminathan. I must thank him before discussing the issue.

The famous Pashupati seal from the Vedic city of Mohenjodaro clearly shows Lord Shiva wearing a bull mask and helmet as per Vedic tradition

This photo clearly shows that certain tribal people continue to wear such masks and helmets to represent their tribe.Do you think that the tribal child is a bull  ?

Lord Hanuman belonged to one such tribe and wore similar mask.

The Kundalini Shakti is the mystery behind Lord Hanuman's tail

I have already explained how Lord Vishnu sent His Avatar in this world and you must understand that the other Gods incarnated in the similar way.Now the question is how can Gods incarnate as monkeys and bears ? The answer is very simple - the Vanaras were a forest dwelling tribe of normal human beings. In the ancient world every kingdom or tribe chose an animal as their symbol and used its image on their flags, banners and sceptres. This tradition still survives in modern times in the Coat of Arms of various governments and royalty. In ancient India some kingdoms were known by their flag animals. This doesn't mean that the kingdom was comprising of  only those animals. Ancient India had a kingdom called Matsya meaning fish corresponding to modern day Rajasthan. It is foolhardy to think that the kingdom was inhabited by fish only and not humans. It is likewise ridiculous to interpret Vanara as monkey. The Vanaras described in the Holy Ramayan were as human and as civilized as the rest of the Vedic society. One of them became a Kundalini Shakti awakened Yogi with miraculous powers - we call him Lord Hanuman today. His tail represents his raised Kundalini Shakti. His iconography portrays him as monkey faced superhuman denoting that the warriors in his tribe wore monkey masks during battle. The seals found in the Indus Valley cities clearly shows that ancient Indians wore animal masks for ritual and military purposes.

To be continued .......

In the end I just like to say that we need the Lord more than ever before. Five thousand years have passed since the end of the Kurukshetra war and our country has lost 80% of her territory and wealth. Only the Lord can make Bharat Varsha great again in the form of Kalki Avatar.

Come back O Lord and save us.

SOMA

In search of Soma

Lord Indra-the presiding Deity of Soma rituals

Human beings have always longed for an Elixir of Immortality that can make them immortals like the Gods. The Sages from ancient India were the first to discover it - they called it Soma. They also documented the alchemical formula in the world's oldest book, the Holy RigVeda. The secrets of Soma were memorised and passed on from Guru to pupil for millenia until it was compiled around 5000 years ago by Sage Vedavyas of Holy Mahabharat fame. The Holy river Saraswati was the backbone of the Vedic Civilization and when it dried up following a cataclysmic shift in the earth's crust around 5000 years ago,the great Vedic Civilization came to an end.It was the biggest cultural and ecological disaster since the days of the Great Flood of Manu in the era of Matsya Avatar. The keepers of the Vedic science were scattered around the world and as time passed by most of the secret knowledge was lost. Ancient India lost much of her former territory and it aggravated the situation. Today only the small community of the Nambudiri Brahmins of Kerala have kept the knowledge of Vedic science alive in the spiritual realm. I have discussed the Soma Yaga or Atiratra Yaga conducted by the Nambudiri Brahmins  in detail in my previous blog, so this blog should be treated as a companion piece. In this blog I am going to discuss in detail about the physical and spiritual manifestations of Soma from ancient times to the present day.

First, let me discuss the spiritual manifestation of Soma. Soma is an Elixir to be consumed ritually with the goal of achieving immortality or Moksha.Soma is the world's greatest Ayurvedic medicine that can cure all diseases and give eternal youth to the initiate. The Gods were the first to use it for achieving Moksha and then they passed on the knowledge to the Sages.Soma in its liquid form was to be extracted from the Soma plant and consumed during Soma Yaga or Atiratra Yaga. It was not a beverage for the masses, only the highly qualified Vedic priests were authorised to drink it. The reason was very simple - it was a hallucinogen that created an altered state of consciousness in the initiate's brain that helped to communicate with other dimensions. This was known as the raising of the Kundalini Shakti that gave miraculous powers to the initiate. The Kundalini Shakti is a latent energy that remains coiled in the sacral plexus region of the spinal cord. The coccyx or the end of the spinal cord forms the base from which the Kundalini Shakti starts its journey when awakened. If you follow the human anatomy thoroughly you will notice that certain regions along the spinal cord has specific nerve endings. These regions are called Chakras in the spiritual realm and they are connected by Nadis all the way up to the brain. The lowermost Chakra around the coccyx is called Muladhar Chakra followed by Swadhishthan Chakra around the sacral plexus, Manipura Chakra around the Navel, Anahat Chakra around the heart, Vishuddhi Chakra around the throat, Agna Chakra around the forehead with links to the pineal gland and Shahasrara Chakra in the cerebral hemisphere inside the brain. The Nandis Ida and Pingala stretches from the Swadhishthan Chakra and connects all the Chakras in a double helix pattern to finally merge on the Agna Chakra, while the Sushumna Nadi stretches right upto the  Shahasrara Chakra. The right path to raise the Kundalini Shakti is through the Sushumna Nadi and it requires either prolonged Yoga for years or an Elixir that can do it in seconds. Soma is the Elixir that can raise the Kundalini Shakti in seconds. The Kundalini Shakti awakened Sages gained miraculous powers or Shiddhis like Clairvoyance, Levitation,Telepathy, Teleportation etc  and used them for the welfare of humanity.

This animated diagram shows the brain controlled nervous system inside the human body. Some specific areas have major nerve endings and these are referred to as Chakras as you can see below.

This animated picture and the one below show the astral travel of the Kundalini Shakti raised Yogi who can experience the higher dimensions in the spiritual realm.

Now let's talk about the identity of the Soma plant that gained the status of a Deity in the RigVeda. The identity of the Soma plant has changed throughout history. In the beginning it was the mushroom Amanita Muscaria.

The Amanita Muscaria mushroom

This mushroom could be poisonous like Mercury if taken under normal circumstances. You should know that Mercury was and still is used in preparing Alchemical Shiddha medicines in India, wherein it is mixed with herbal substances to create to create an Elixir. The Soma drink was similarly prepared during Soma Yaga or Atiratra Yaga. Another vital point to note is that the Vedic priests prepared their bodies with prolonged Yoga sessions for years to be eligible to drink Soma. The Holy Ramayan and Holy Mahabharat gives ample evidence of Yoga being practiced by the priests before conducting a Vedic ritual.Prolonged Yoga increases Oxygen in blood and stimulates the Pineal gland inside the brain that secretes DMT (  Dimethyltryptamine ) which is a euphoric chemical.Soma taken under such conditions causes the Kundalini Shakti to rise instantly. So we see that Soma is a part of the whole and not the whole itself. People must not confuse Soma with modern hallucinogens that stimulates the Muladhar Chakra and forces the Kundalini Shakti to rise through the wrong path of Ida and Pingala Nadis upto the Swadhishthan Chakra, resulting in agonising physical and mental pain or even death.Soma is a matter of highest devotion and strictest Yagic discipline and not a psychedelic entertainment. One must practice Yoga under a qualified Guru for 3 to 12 years before attempting to raise the Kundalini Shakti.I think you all know about the devastating blasts caused by the wrong use of Mercury in attempts of creating Alchemical Gold.

The famous Pashupati seal from the Vedic city of Mohenjodaro clearly shows Lord Shiva sitting in the Yoga posture of BaddhaKonasana which is vital for raising the Kundalini Shakti

This seal from the Vedic city of Mohenjodaro was a Totem depicting the Amanita Muscaria mushroom in the centre. It symbolised a successful Soma Yaga. The Aswattha or Peepal leaves symbolise the KalpaVriksha or wish fulfilling tree mentioned in the Holy Mahabharat while the 9  leaves symbolise the 9 planets of Vedic Astrology necessary for calculating cosmic time. The Ekashringa Varahas or One horned animals flanking the Aswattha leaves symbolise Divine authority and protection. The circle within the square symbol at the left bottom corner shows a Vedic alter and a cymatic pattern while the cryptic symbols on the right side gives the name of the presiding priest in Vedic Sanskrit. Altogether the seal glorifies Soma as the giver of Siddhi or miraculous power.

This thousand year old sculpture depicts Kundalini Shakti in the form of double helix serpents flanking the Shiva Lingam. Please notice the striking similarity with the Vedic seal above.

I urge the young people to stay away from all hallucinogens and join a Yoga camp for spiritual and physical development .

This photo shows a Russian Shaman using the Amanita Muscaria mushroom in a ritual. Please notice her dress - it has been designed to symbolise the mushroom

Please notice her hand jesture - it is a Vedic Mudra

A toad on an Amanita Muscaria mushroom. In the Vedic Civilization toad's venom was used alongside the Amanita Muscaria mushroom in Alchemical rituals and its bones in Magic rituals as prescribed in the Holy AtharvaVeda. It has remained in the collective memory of the Russians  ( People of the Uttar Kuru kingdom of Holy Mahabharat fame) and has transformed into the folklore of The Frog Princess. The story of a Frog that metamorphosed into a princess by Magic, symbolising enlightenment.A variant of the same story is found in Germany where it is known as The Frog Prince.

The symbolic wooden frog in a modern day Atiratra Yaga conform to the Vedic tradition of using frogs for magic rituals

The millenia old famous umbrella stones or Kudakkallu mounds of Kerala, India. Please notice its similarity with the Amanita Muscaria mushroom. These mounds were used for burying the Sages in Padmasana or sitting lotus position above ground. The bodies of the Kundalini Shakti raised Sages or JivanMuktas were objects of veneration even after death and so they were buried in these mounds instead of the standard practice of cremation. The uncanny similarity with the Amanita Muscaria mushroom is deliberate as the Vedic priests glorified the Soma even in death.Thse mounds are symbolic representation of Soma that gives people immortality or Moksha.

The Soma plant grew in the Ural mountains and surrounding areas in modern day Russia and Central Asia, then known as Uttar Kuru and Bahlika respectively. The modern day Siberian Shamans still use the Amanita Muscaria mushroom in religious ceremonies that are the remnants of the great Vedic Civilization once prominent throughout Asia. As the Holy Saraswati river dried up and brought the Vedic Civilization to an end around 5000 years ago people of India lost track of the Soma plant and began searching for alternatives. They found one in the Cannabis plant that grew in the Himalayas and the adjacent plains of Ganga river valley. In the post Vedic period Ganga emerged as the new Holy river and Cannabis as the new Soma.

The Indian Cannabis plant

The Indian Cannabis has high medicinal value.

The traditional Bhang or Shiddhi. The Sanskrit word Shiddhi also means enlightenment and miraculous power.

Bhang is an integral part of Holi celebrations in India

The divine combination - Bhang served in a Copper pot. Both Cannabis and Copper has been part of our culture for thosands of years as objects of religious merit.

The Lord of Cannabis or Shiddheshwar as Lord Shiva is often called

Cannabis is associated with Lord Shiva as He is said to have created the plant out of his Shiddhis or miraculous powers.Cannabis was and still is ritually consumed in three forms - Bhang,Ganja and Charas. The fresh Cannabis leaves when crushed and mixed with Holy Cow milk is called Bhang. The dry cannabis leaves when lighted and smoked from a device is called Ganja and the Cannabis seeds when lighted and smoked from a device is called Charas. Bhang is slightly euphoric and is consumed by any healthy adult person - in fact it is consumed in copious quantities during Dharmic festivals like Holi and Diwali. Ganja and Charas are strong hallucinogens when smoked and are not meant for the general public. Only the adepts under the strict observation of a Yoga Guru can consume Ganja and Charas for raising the Kundalini Shakti. The abuse of Ganja and Charas by non adepts can be fatal very much like Soma.As I said earlier it is a means to an end and not the end itself.

( Please do not try it at home if you are not a Yoga adept )

However,it is not known whether Cannabis was ever used in a Soma Yaga. I must discuss the physical use of Cannabis here apart from its spiritual use. Cannabis was used to create Geopolymer or man made stone. The Cannabis Geopolymer was used to create blocks for construction as well as coating for rock cut architecture. The Cannabis Geopolymer protected the surface of buildings and sculptures for thosands of years, which would have disintegrated otherwise from weathering. It also gave a fine smooth finish to the structures. The famous cave temples of Ajanta and Ellora in Maharashtra and the Barabar caves in Bihar are the best examples Cannabis Geopolymer use.

The gateway of the Barabar caves in Bihar, India. It is mentioned in the Holy Mahabharat and that means it is more than 5000 years old. It is not just an entrance but was used as a Stargate for Teleportation by the Gods and Sages during the Mahabharat era.

It is entirely plastered with Cannabis Geopolymer that gives it a mirror like surface even after 5000 years.Western scholars pass it off as a work of hammer and chisel. Do you know of any hammer and chisel that can make stone look like glass ?

Please look at the reflecting light and decide for yourself

The barrel vault and semicircular corners are meant to create a resonating vibration when the Holy sound OM is chanted inside the cave. The OM sound invoked the Gods and mantras were used to open the portal in the parallel world. This cave was also used for raising the Kundalini Shakti through Yoga as the specially designed vault created a conducive surrounding.

The raised platform at the edge of the vault was where the Sages sat and chanted Sanskrit mantras. This position was perfect to generate the required vibration to open the Stargate.

The Sanctum Sanctorum of the cave - it was the place where the actual Teleportation took place. All the sound vibrations from the other end of the cave were concentrated on this spot end opened the Stargate.

The Indra Sabha hall in the famous Ellora caves in Maharashtra,India is as old as the Barabar caves and it is a gateway to an underground city mentioned several times in Holy Mahabharat. The structure above the surface served as a Stargate with multiple barrel vaulted rooms used for resonating precise sound vibrations of Sanskrit mantras to unlock the portal .The inner portion of all the caves are plastered with Cannabis Geopolymer that has preserved the sculptures and paintings for millenia.People started using the caves as a temple complex and monastery at a later date after the ancient Vedic Civilization ended. Some additions and alterations were made during the Rashtrakuta dynasty between 7th to 10th century CE. But the western scholars pass it off as a work of hammer and chisel built in the 7th century CE. Is there any hammer and chisel in the world that can make a structure last 5000 years ?

The entire cave complex is precisely aligned with the solstices so that sunlight directly reaches the Sanctum Sanctorum on summer and winter solstices. Do you think it is possible to build a structure of such acute mathematical precision with hammer and chisel  ?

The famous Kailash temple of the Ellora caves complex is the biggest example of Vedic metallurgy. The spot where the temple stands today was a hill which was melted using a chemical concoction and then Soma Yagas were performed on a massive scale to prepare an Alchemical Geopolymer. This substance has been mentioned in the Holy RigVeda as Vajra or Amrita alongside other metal alloys produced by Soma Yaga.It was then moulded into the shape of a temple as per Vedic Vastu Shastra.

The western scholars hypothesise that this structure was built by hammer and chisel. What they don't know is that the tools were made of Soma and the wielder was none other than Lord Vishwakarma Himself  !!!!!!!

A close observation of the rock face reveals traces of massive Alchemical experiment by the Vedic Sages.

Every part of the structure bears the signature of Vedic Alchemy. A Cannabis Geopolymer once covered the entire structure, the traces of which are still visible on the outer walls. This Geopolymer plaster has protected the structure from weathering and even from vandalism by foreigners.

It has stood the test of time for millenia. Yes,you read it right. It was built during the Mahabharat era, 5000 years ago - subsequent generations merely appropriated it for themselves by adding a few statues and paintings. The Rashtrakuta dynasty of 7th - 10th century CE was one such power who are passed off as the original builders of the Ellora caves by the western scholars. They are absolutely wrong because by the 7th century CE most of the ancient Vedic knowledge was lost and the people were too ordinary to undertake the construction of an underground city which is what Ellora caves actually is.The specifications of the Ellora caves complex matches perfectly with the underground cities of Yakshas and Nagas mentioned in the Holy Mahabharat.

The waterfall within the Ellora caves immediately transports us back to the Mahabharat era with the man made caves, secret doors and gateway to the underworld cities of Yakshas and Nagas. The curvature of the mountain is man made and are perfectly aligned with the solstices to get optimum exposure to sunlight on specific days and hours of astrological significance.

The Vedic Sages had the ability to change matter into energy - basically creating something out of thin air. This photo clearly shows that the surrounding areas are unfit for civilization as it is actually in the middle of a jungle. Yet once upon a time during India's Golden Age the great Vedic Civilization thrived here.

Another substitute for Soma was the Lotus flower or more precisely the Lotus seed which was used comtemporaneously by the Gods and priests. Now you know why every God and Goddess in Sanatana Dharma is portrayed sitting on a Lotus flower or holding a Lotus flower and why Lotus flowers are offered to the Gods & Goddesses in temples.

The sacred Lotus of India needs no introduction

The famous Golden Lotus in the Madurai Meenakshi temple Pushkarini commemorates Lord Indra's attainment of Moksha

Lord Indra with Lady Sachi flanked by sacred Lotus flowers in the Nandan Kanan or garden of heaven

The seeds of the Lotus flower were crushed and mixed with Holy Cow milk and consumed to raise the Kundalini Shakti. The Holy Mahabharat mentions several times that Lord Indra and all the other Gods attained enlightenment by performing penance sitting on a Lotus - meaning they consumed the Lotus flowers to raise the Kundalini Shakti and attain Shiddhis or miraculous powers. The Golden Lotus in the Pushkarini of the famous Madurai Meenakshi temple is a symbolic representation of this truth. Another interesting fact is that the Lotus flower grows on the dung of Holy Cow and that is why the dung is known as cow boon or Gobar - the boon that helps the sacred Lotus flower to grow.

The Datura flower of India

The Datura fruit

Yet another substitute for Soma is the Datura flower that grows abundantly in the plains of India. Like Cannabis It is also associated with Lord Shiva. The flower is offered to the Lord and the seeds are crushed and mixed with Holy Cow milk and consumed by adepts. It is a strong hallucinogen and the adept needs to be physically and mentally prepared by the prolonged practice of Yoga to be eligible to drink it and raise the Kundalini Shakti under the strict observation of a Yoga Guru.

The Somlata plant

The Somlata flower

The Somlata fruit

The only substitute for Soma that is still used in Soma Yaga is called Somalata or Ephedra that is used by the Nambudiri Brahmins of Kerala,India. The stalks of this plant are crushed to extract the juice and then it is ritually consumed during Soma Yaga or Atiratra Yaga as I have explained in detail in my previous blog on the  Atiratra Yaga. The basic reason for consuming Soma or any of its substitutes is the same - to raise the Kundalini Shakti for the welfare of humanity.

Lord Indra wielding the Vajra weapon from His mount Airavat

Let me now discuss the physical or Alchemical manifestation of Soma.Valuable research in this field has been done by the brilliant researcher Srinivasan Kalyanaraman , so I must acknowledge him before starting this segment.

The Holy RigVeda mentions that Soma was brought from Mount Mujavat situated beyond the Himalayas. The people who brought Soma for selling in the Vedic cities like Harappa and Mohenjodaro were the Tushara people living in the vicinity of Mount Mujavat. The Holy Mahabharat also mentions the Tushara people who came to the Rajasuya Yagya of Emperor Yudhisthir to present him valuable gifts. The Holy RigVeda mentions that Soma was brought by Garuda and Amrita was created by consuming it.It is a metaphorical way of saying that Amrita was produced from Soma on the Garuda alter of the Atiratra Yaga that lasted for 12 days. The Vajra weapon of Lord Indra was created by one such Yaga. Now the question is how can a beverage that is consumed by humans can be transformed into the hardest object in the world called the Vajra of Lord Indra ?The answer is very simple - Soma in its physical manifestation was a metal ore and the Amrita produced from it was a metallic alloy. The Holy Mahabharat clearly mentions that the calestial armour and earrings gifted to Princess Kunti by Lord Surya was made of Amrita  ( produced from Soma ).It is important to find out what kind of metal ore was used to produce the Alchemical metal Amrita. The Tushara people mentioned in both the Holy books have been identified with the Tocharian people who lived in Central Asia and traded in minerals mined from the Pamir mountains and surrounding areas.Today this region is identified with the border regions of Kyrgyzstan and China. One particular mountain range of interest is called Muztagh Ata in the Xinjiang province of China - etymologically traced to Mount Mujavat of the Holy RigVeda. This region in China is rich in mineral deposits and a common object found there is gold pyrite - a mixture of nearly 70 % gold and 30 % silver bonded with Iron ore and other metallic ores. The picture becomes very clear now. This metal ore was brought by Tushara / Tocharian people to the Vedic cities and bartered for the Holy cows in the Saraswati - Sindhu valley. Then this ore was smelted during the 12 day long Atiratra Yaga on the Garuda alter and the heat produced amalgamated the metals to produce the Alchemical metal Amrita. Similar Yagas performed were Vajapeya Yaga and other Soma Yagas of varying durations with the  same object of producing the highest quality metal  alloys in the world. The rituals involved in the Yagas were meant to purify and strengthen the metals while the resonating vibration of the Sanskrit mantras were used to strengthen the metals further. The Vedic Sages with raised had Kundalini Shakti had the ability to convert energy into matter and vice versa using sound vibrations. Now you know how the Gods and heroes of Holy Ramayan & Mahabharat invoked and used celestial weapons using Sanskrit mantras. ( Modern scientists are beginning to realise that sound resonance has the ability to create or destroy matter, change the atomic structure of metal even )

These green pastures near the Mount Mujavat fed the camel caravans that carried Soma to the Vedic cities on the banks of the river Saraswati

A piece of Gold pyrite

Pyrite found on a quartz crystal

A cross section of a pyrite - these subtle features of the pyrite has been meticulously described in the Holy RigVeda albeit in a cryptic metaphorical way.

The Holy RigVeda mentions a city called Hariyupia where many Soma Yagas were performed. The word Hariyupia is made up of two worlds - Hari meaning gold and Yupa meaning an alter and thereby meaning Alter of Gold. The city became very rich by virtue of the Alchemical metal Amrita production.A Yagyasala was essentially a metal casting unit functioning under a learned Brahmin and numerous such units were involved in wealth creation activities. Most of the seals found in the Indus valley cities are metal casting catalogues from the Yagyasala units and also served the purpose of Totem symbols.Cottage industry as we understand it today had its beginning in Vedic times and brought great wealth to everyone involved in the process unlike today where cottage industry is considered poor and backdated. The Holy Ramayan and Mahabharat mentions several times that the Sages perform a Yaga and celestial weapons come out of the alter of fire.It actually means that the Sages perform a Soma Yaga and the resultant Alchemical metal Amrita is used to manufacture a weapon and then activated by sound passwords or mantras wherein only the adept is able to use it and control it.This city of Golden Yupa is none other than Harappa in the Indus valley. The western scholars hypothesise that Harrapa was pre Vedic but they are totally wrong because civilization didn't even exist before the Vedas. The Vedas are much older than the now accepted date of 8000 BCE as the starting point of the so called Indus valley Civilization ( Saraswati - Sindhu civilization ).The cities themselves were built upon and thrived on Vedic knowledge.I have read the research articles by many western scholars in this regard but all of them seem to lose direction after a certain point on account of the inherent prejudice they have against ancient India.

The famous Dancing Girl bronze figurine from Mohenjodaro. The figurine is holding a terracotta oil lamp in her hand indicating that she is a Yakshi - a female guard and protector of wealth.Figurines like these were produced in Vedic Yagyasalas and consecrated to be kept in people's homes as magical protection against evil. The rich people of the city kept such figurines inside the wooden chest where they kept previous objects to cast spells on intruders. These figurines were also used as Votive offerings and worshipped as attendants of Lord Kuber, the God of wealth.

This brass figurine from the Madurai Meenakshi temple, holding a lamp is strikingly similar to the Mohenjodaro figurine above and serves the same purpose

The Vedic Yagyasalas didn't just produce Amrita and Steel alloys they also produced Copper, Brass and Bronze objects simultaneously. The western hypothesis that first there was a Copper Age then Bronze Age and then Iron Age is wrong as the misleading Aryan Invasion Theory is based on it. According to this the indigenous people were primitive people using only copper and bronze and then the Iron wielding Aryan people from Central Asia supposedly invaded India and destroyed the Indus valley cities and enslaved the population and built villages !!!!!!!

The mythical Aryan Invasion never took place as there is no mention of any foreign invasion in the world's oldest literature, the Holy RigVeda. The Holy Ramayan and Holy Mahabharat also does not mention any foreign invasion. By the authority of these three Holy books which are also the world's oldest, it is right to consider that the Indus Valley Civilization is none other than Vedic Civilization. There is no mythology in our Sanatana Dharma, the only mythology that exists is in the hypothesis of the western scholars.

During the course of this blog I have shown that the original Central Asians were no more than miners and peddlers who depended on the Vedic people of India for their livelihoods. The Holy Mahabharat mentions that the Tushara / Tocharian people of Central Asia paid tribute to the Indian Emperor Yudhisthir during the Rajasuya Yaga - you pay tribute to an Emperor only when you are a vassal and not a foreign overlord.
The Vedic people of India who have been living in this land for the last 10000 years or more are the actual Aryans.Yes, you read it right.

The caravan route used by the Tushara / Tocharian people to bring Soma functioned for millenia and with the passage of time became known as the Silk Route.Silk by the way was invented by the Vedic people of India as mentioned in the Holy Ramayan and Mahabharat. As the Vedic Civilization declined Soma was replaced by Silk manufactured by the same Vedic people. The knowledge of ancient Vedic people was shared along the Silk Route from China to Egypt and beyond. People from all over the civilized world came to ancient India to buy the unique products and paid in gold. As a result ancient India became the world's richest country.

This painting shows Alexander the great receiving an Indian Steel sword from King Puru on his return journey to Babylon. On the left side you can see the Indian metal workers at work in a Vedic smithy representing the glory of ancient India.Contrary to the western hypothesis King Puru defeated Alexander the great by virtue of the superior metallurgy of Indian weapons and armour and of course spiritual energy. Alexander the great was wounded by one such weapon that ultimately took his life and stopped his advance in India.

As the Vedic Civilization declined following the cataclysmic disappearance of the Holy river Saraswati underground, the people scattered all over the world. Lot of valuable ancient knowledge was lost because of fragmentation but the Sanskrit learned Brahmins kept the tradition alive in the remote corners of India. Great Brahmin leaders like Chanakya and Barahamihir kept the knowledge of Vedic Alchemy alive and the result was the construction of the rust free steel flagstaff  known today as the Iron Pillar of Delhi. It is more than 2000 years old and yet it has not rusted or eroded. It is the greatest living example of Vedic metallurgy proudly proclaiming the superiority of the great Vedic Civilization. It is the biggest and oldest free standing Iron pillar in the world.

The Iron Pillar has become a stuff of legends with western scholars claiming that it was manufactured by Aliens !!!

The only Aliens who manufactured it were called Vedic Brahmins and the factory was called Soma Yagyasala

The living Soma - the top had a figurine of Garuda coated with Iridium meant to transmit Scalar energy from the Lord Vishnu temple before which it originally stood as the Dhwaja Stambh.

The Aruna Pillar in front of the famous Puri Jagannath temple gives a clear idea about the missing top portion of the Iron Pillar - it also had a figurine like this. Garuda by the way is the brother of Aruna and has similar iconography

Please watch this great video by the brilliant researcher Praveen Mohan to know more about the metallurgy of the Iron Pillar

The Chakra on top of the famous Puri Jagannath temple is yet another living example of the great Vedic metallurgy. It is made of an 8 metal alloy called Astadhatu created by Soma Yaga. It has been there at the top for more than 1000 years without any sign of decay.

I once lived for a few years in an Indian village known for traditional metal casting. They mostly dealt with Copper, Brass and Bronze in their hereditary family workshops. The village was close to an archaeological site which was contemporaneous to Harappa.I was very young at that time but still realized that the village was a Microcosm of the Vedic Civilization. I could see a small version of Harappa right in front of my eyes. The ancient Vedic tradition still services in the remote corners of India albeit in a humble form.We need to revive our ancient culture for the sake of our future.
